Six chicken drumsticks
salt and ground black pepper to taste
½ cup orange marmalade
2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
2 tbsp. barbeque sauce
1 tbsp. sambal oelek
½ tbsp. soy sauce
The oven should be preheated to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place the drumsticks in an oven-safe dish after seasoning with salt and pepper.
For 20 minutes, bake in the preheated oven.
Mix orange marmalade, Dijon mustard, barbecue sauce, sambal oelek, and soy sauce in a small bowl.
When the dish is done, brush the chicken with the marmalade mixture. Go back to the oven and bake for ten more minutes.
Return the dish to the oven, flip the chicken over, brush with the marmalade mixture, and bake for 10 minutes until juices run clear and the chicken is no longer pink at the bone. A near-the-bone instant-read thermometer should register 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius).
A dish from the oven and brush the remaining marmalade sauce over the chicken. Heat the grill in the oven. Please return to the oven and broil the chicken for 3 to 5 minutes or until it blisters and becomes black.
